This is a two-part special diving into the events that have unfolded this year, most of which completely rocked my sense of foundation and security. I’m never one to get personal on a public forum but exploring more forms of expression has given me the courage to do so. My separation from my ex-fiancé was (and still is) something that caused me to completely reassess my sense of identity. He is someone I will always love, support, and pray for continuously but there is a lot of healing and growth on my part that needs to remain my sole focus. It’s hard because there are days I miss him and other days where I wish we had never met. This needed its own episode simply because it took over the last half of the year and I still can’t pinpoint my purest perception of him and our relationship. For now, if you’re reading this kid, words fail me but this sums up where my head and heart are at for right now.
