I experienced the worst heartbreak a few years ago by a person who i would have taken several bullets for. Differences took over and we parted. It hurt even more knowing we still deeply loved each other. I grieved the loss of someone who is very much still alive. The beautiful thing about heartbreak is that there is new room for growth, maturity and rebirth. Thankfully I was able to reconnect with this person and we entered a collective state of new-growth, love and healing. This episode is a trip down memory lane to a moment that changed me for the best but is also me breaking up with an old version of myself.
